On the occasion of the Women’s Day of Prayer, the women of the Church in Liège, Belgium, wanted to mark this day in a special way: by coming together as a true family. In this spirit of communion and service, each woman contributed, according to her gifts and talents, to the success of this spiritual and community event. A rich and harmonious program included a sermon, a time of prayer after the message, a group song, a community meal, a common dress code for the participants, and an afternoon seminar on the theme "The prayer of the woman with multiple responsibilities," not to mention friendly activities and games.
The day began with a sermon delivered by a brother on the theme: “God turns tears into stars.” The message highlighted the importance that the Lord attaches to the tears and prayers that his children lay at his feet. Using the example of Mary, the preacher reminded us that it is in Jesus that we find comfort and hope, and that no problem escapes God's gaze.
The afternoon program continued with a seminar entitled “Prayer for Women with Multiple Responsibilities.” It was led by ten women: one in charge of running the program, another responsible for games, and eight speakers who made up the seminar panel. Through their presentations, they addressed the daily challenges women face and the importance of prayer as a source of strength and balance. The discussions and activities generated enthusiastic participation from the women and members of the Church. The games provided much joy and relaxation, strengthening the spirit of fellowship. The theme of the seminar proved particularly enriching, reminding us that God knows each woman in the reality of her multiple responsibilities. It was emphasized that, regardless of location or position, every woman can turn to God in prayer and find peace and relief from her burdens. Even in the midst of responsibilities, it is essential to keep our relationship with the Lord a priority. We extend our warmest thanks to all the women who invested their time and energy in preparing and carrying out this event. Special mention goes to Auxanne, Ny Anja, and Gédéon, who made a remarkable contribution to decorating the hall, making the atmosphere even more beautiful and welcoming.
